Action…Action…We Want Action

One of my clients, Dr. Stacia Pierce (she knows I am writing about her by the way) read my book, Viral Explosions and had her assistant contact me.  She left a voicemail indicating they wanted to hire me to do one-on-one coaching.  I went to her site and was very impressed by her following and her presence.  I questioned why she wanted help from me because she was already hugely successful.  We began working together because she wanted to increase her outreach and create additional products and services.

After two months I received flowers and a card from her that read, “Thank you, Peggy.  Your coaching and information has made a world of difference in my life and business.  My bottom line has doubled because of you.”  It was wonderful to receive such accolades but her results are not because of me, they are because of her.  Every time we have our coaching calls I give her suggestions and strategies and she implements them.  Between one meeting and the next she has not only accomplished all 10 ideas, for instance, she has done 12.  She takes them and runs with them.  I was so surprised with what she wrote in the card because she is a dream client.

The reason Dr. Pierce is successful is because she follows through.  Most highly successful people have this in common -  when they want their lives and businesses to go to the next level they take action.  You can’t just read about it and learn it, you have to apply it.

One of the things I helped her with is developing the concept of offering different levels of service in her membership products.  When you go to her site you see how much people love her.  When your customers have this connection with you they often want more.  They want more access and more special privileges.  Each level of membership should have different privileges.  The key was to find more ways to serve people, add even more value to what you are already offering, and create additional revenue.

Knowing how productive Dr. Pierce is, I would not be surprised if her new offering is already in place before our next meeting, let alone by the time this blog gets published.

In my next post I will go into more detail about how to creatively and respectfully ask your client to upgrade to your higher level services.

Great post Peggy! Yes, it’s all about action!

What I’ve found is you can’t take action and then wait for results. Take action, then take more action, then more action after that. The outcome of that is results, results, results. Getting comfortable or complacent is the enemy of productivity and results.

You’re so inspiring Peggy. I love your enthusiasm for helping people and I have connected with the greatest bunch of people through you.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!
